Applications
EZP2005H is specified for blown film extrusion and includes processing agent for direct use on mono- or co-extrusion lines without supplemental additive packages beyond what converters require for their end-market formulations.
Greenhouse film is the primary application. Greenhouse covers must balance light transmission with structural durability across multiple growing seasons, and EZP2005H's ≤12% haze with tightly controlled gel content directly supports both requirements. The optical specification ensures adequate PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) transmission through the film canopy. The mechanical profile — elongation at break ≥350%, dart impact ≥200 g at 25 µm — provides the resistance to catastrophic failure under hail impact or heavy snow load that commercial greenhouse operators demand before committing to a film purchase covering hundreds or thousands of square meters.
Agricultural mulch film represents the secondary application. Mulch films operate under different mechanical stresses than greenhouse covers: foot traffic during field operations, mechanical deployment equipment, and thermal cycling create repeated localized stress concentrations. The grade's elongation and yield stress specifications support these demands. Mulch applications typically target lower gauges than greenhouse film, and the dart impact specification at 25 µm provides a meaningful baseline for buyers calculating gauge efficiency against projected service life.
Why Source Through BASTONE
BASTONE distributes EZP2005H as part of its PetroChina product portfolio under the export entity Zhejiang Bastone Technology Co., Ltd. Every shipment is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis drawn directly from Dushanzi plant production records. Buyers receive batch-traceable documentation referencing the specific production lot and test results against each property in the specification table above — not a generic conformance statement issued at the distributor level.
The parent company operates four production sites and an internal R&D center, which means BASTONE's technical team works with polyethylene formulations across a range of applications beyond distribution. When a film converter needs to evaluate whether EZP2005H is the correct grade — or needs guidance on blending ratios with conventional LLDPE to optimize cost-performance balance — BASTONE can provide application context that a pure trading house typically cannot offer.
Export coordination runs through a dedicated logistics team with over a decade of experience shipping bulk polymer orders from Chinese ports. BASTONE manages full documentation packages including COA, packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading, and country-specific pre-clearance requirements, reducing the administrative friction that frequently delays first-time China polymer imports.
