Technical Properties
The complete technical datasheet for EZP2010HA — covering MFR, density, tensile properties, haze, fish-eye count, and falling weight impact — is available upon request. Contact BASTONE Petrochem directly for the manufacturer's TDS and a sample COA from a recent production batch.
Applications
EZP2010HA is formulated for blown film production, with primary applications in greenhouse covering film and agricultural mulch film. Both end uses require optical and mechanical performance that conventional LLDPE grades deliver inconsistently.
Greenhouse film must transmit and diffuse light effectively across multiple growing seasons of outdoor exposure. Haze directly limits usable photosynthetically active radiation inside the structure. The metallocene catalyst system behind EZP2010HA controls branch placement with a precision that minimizes comonomer clustering — the structural contributor to high haze in Ziegler-Natta LLDPE. Film produced from EZP2010HA achieves lower haze without additional clarifying additives, an advantage that compounds over the life of a multi-season film installation.
Agricultural mulch film operates under different mechanical demands: puncture resistance during machine-laying, elongation to conform to soil surface variation, and tear resistance during seasonal removal. The uniform hexene-1 branch distribution in EZP2010HA improves tear and puncture toughness per unit of film thickness compared with conventional LLDPE grades at equivalent density. Film producers can achieve the same mechanical performance target at reduced gauge, cutting resin consumption per hectare of coverage — a meaningful cost variable for large-area farm operations.
The processing aids built into the formulation resolve one practical barrier to mLLDPE adoption on production lines: elevated die pressure and melt instability at commercial output rates. With processing aids included, EZP2010HA runs with melt stability comparable to standard LLDPE, so converters retain the optical and mechanical advantages of the metallocene catalyst without sacrificing line throughput or running into surface quality problems from melt fracture.
Why Source Through BASTONE
BASTONE Petrochem maintains a direct distribution relationship with PetroChina — one of China's three major petrochemical producers — covering grades including EZP2010HA. Direct producer allocation access means BASTONE can confirm availability, communicate production scheduling, and provide lead time estimates tied to actual plant output. Spot-market traders operating without producer authorization cannot offer supply visibility at that level, which creates real planning risk for converters running seasonal agricultural film production windows.
Each EZP2010HA shipment BASTONE handles carries a batch-traceable COA tested against the manufacturer's specification. For converters operating under food-contact regulation, agricultural input certification, or retailer quality audit requirements, documentation traceable to a named major Chinese producer carries compliance weight that a trading company's own test certificate cannot replicate. BASTONE's export entity, Zhejiang Bastone Technology Co., Ltd, has handled chemical export documentation for over a decade — buyers can expect correctly formatted customs, MSDS, and origin documentation without the back-and-forth that slows first-time China-origin shipments.
BASTONE's parent group operates 4 production sites and 1 R&D center in Hangzhou Economic Development Zone. Technical staff can engage on grade selection questions — evaluating EZP2010HA against other mLLDPE grades for specific film gauge targets, comparing hexene versus butene comonomer performance, or advising on blending ratios with conventional LLDPE. Pure trading houses cannot support those conversations; BASTONE can.
