Applications
Polyethylene food preservation film. Fresh produce, meat, and chilled prepared foods release moisture continuously inside a sealed pack. Without an antifog additive, condensation obscures the product and accelerates surface spoilage where droplets settle. MFW201 keeps the inner film surface clear at 3–15% loading, and its cold-fog performance matters specifically here because most preservation film spends its life in a refrigerated cabinet where condensation is slow, persistent, and hardest to suppress.
Multi-layer co-extruded packaging film. In a co-extruded structure, antifog function is only needed at the sealing layer that contacts the headspace. MFW201's PE carrier lets converters concentrate the additive in the skin layer while leaving core and outer layers untouched, which reduces total additive consumption and avoids interference with print or barrier layers. Consistent dispersion is critical at co-extrusion line speeds, since a poorly dispersed concentrate shows up as gels and optical defects long before it shows up as an antifog failure.
Polyethylene cast film. Cast film runs at high output with fast quench, so the additive has to migrate reliably in a rapidly solidified web. MFW201 disperses without a separate compounding pass, which keeps changeover time short for converters running multiple film specifications on one line.
Injection molded PE containers. Lidded containers, deli tubs, and clamshells built from injection molded PE face the same headspace condensation problem as film. Thicker wall sections mean a longer migration path, and the multi-component additive package supports the sustained migration that a thicker part requires.
Why Choose BASTONE
Bastone manufactures MFW201 — the product is not resold from a third-party compounder. Production runs at Bastone's own Hangzhou facility, so incoming raw material qualification, dispersion control, and finished-batch testing sit under a single quality system. When a buyer reports an antifog performance shift, the traceability path leads to a specific production batch and a specific additive lot rather than to an intermediary.
Formulation capability is in-house. Bastone operates an R&D center supporting four production sites, and the MFW201 additive package reflects that structure — the balance between fast-migrating and slow-migrating components is a formulation decision Bastone controls and can adjust. Customers running an unusual base resin, an atypical film gauge, or a specific target fog rating can request a formulation trial rather than accepting a fixed off-the-shelf grade.
Buying from the manufacturer removes a pricing layer. Bastone quotes MFW201 at production cost plus export margin, without the markup a trading intermediary adds. Export moves through Zhejiang Bastone Technology Co., Ltd., a platform with more than ten years of documentation and shipping experience, which means FOB, CIF, and CFR terms, container consolidation with other Bastone product lines, and customs paperwork prepared correctly the first time.
