Description

Terluran® HI-10 is an uncolored acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) copolymer engineered specifically for injection molding and extrusion processes. INEOS Styrolution formulates the resin to balance medium flow characteristics with exceptional mechanical strength. Plant operators rely on the material for producing rigid, dimensionally stable components that must survive heavy physical use.

The polymer matrix achieves a melt volume rate of 5.5 cm³/10 min at 220°C with a 10 kg load. The specific rheological profile allows the resin to fill complex mold cavities without requiring excessive injection pressures. Finished parts exhibit a tensile modulus of 1900 MPa and a flexural strength of 56 MPa, ensuring structural integrity under load.

Cold-temperature impact resistance sets the grade apart from standard ABS formulations. Izod notched impact testing yields 36 kJ/m² at room temperature and maintains 14 kJ/m² at -30°C.
