La reputaci\u00f3n de que el ABS es el mejor pl\u00e1stico de ingenier\u00eda se mantiene hasta que una pieza tiene que flexionarse repetidamente o estar en un solvente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El PP y el ABS se sit\u00faan en lados opuestos de las propiedades que deciden la mayor\u00eda de los trabajos de moldeo: acabado, contacto qu\u00edmico, fatiga de bisagras y peso. La regla general habitual lo reduce a \u201cel ABS es premium, el PP es barato\u201d y dirige a las personas hacia el ABS por reflejo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ese reflejo es incorrecto tantas veces como es correcto. El ABS gana su prima en una superficie pintada o chapada limpia, respaldada por una mayor rigidez. En el momento en que el requisito principal es un solvente, una bisagra viva o un peso bajo, el polipropileno (PP) es la opci\u00f3n correcta, no el compromiso presupuestario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cu\u00e1l Resiste Solventes, PP o ABS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El PP resiste los \u00e1cidos, bases, alcoholes e hidrocarburos alif\u00e1ticos que agrietan el ABS, por lo que una pieza en contacto qu\u00edmico pertenece al PP. El ABS se sit\u00faa en la banda media a alta para el agrietamiento por tensi\u00f3n ambiental (ESC) y es atacado por cetonas como la acetona y la MEK, \u00e9steres y solventes arom\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El modo de falla no es un ataque qu\u00edmico simple. El PP resiste aproximadamente entre pH 2 y 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trato esto como casi binario. Si la pieza ve solventes de limpieza, combustibles o aceites de fragancia, el ABS es la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s riesgosa independientemente de su n\u00famero de resistencia al impacto. Un copol\u00edmero de impacto de PP como K8003 responde al servicio cuando la pieza tambi\u00e9n recibe golpes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Por Qu\u00e9 el ABS No Puede Hacer una Bisagra Viva<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una bisagra viva de copol\u00edmero de PP sobrevive a m\u00e1s de 1,000,000 de ciclos de apertura-cierre; el ABS se fractura en el primer o segundo pliegue y no puede formar una en absoluto. Esta es la dicotom\u00eda m\u00e1s clara en la comparaci\u00f3n, y el hecho que la mayor\u00eda del razonamiento de \u201cel ABS es m\u00e1s resistente\u201d pasa por alto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El mecanismo es estructural. El PP es semicristalino, por lo que sus cadenas se reorientan bajo la tensi\u00f3n del pliegue y la red delgada se endurece por deformaci\u00f3n en una bisagra duradera. Por encima de eso, la vida de la bisagra cae de m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de ciclos a 10,000\u201350,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use copol\u00edmero de PP, no homopol\u00edmero, y reduzca la capacidad para el fr\u00edo, ya que el PP pierde aproximadamente la mitad de su vida de flexi\u00f3n por cada 20 \u00b0C por debajo de la temperatura ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto tambi\u00e9n es por lo que \u201cel ABS es m\u00e1s resistente\u201d induce a error. El ABS gana en Izod con muesca (alrededor de 200\u2013500 J\/m frente a los 20\u2013100 del PP, ASTM D256) en un solo golpe agudo, por lo que un soporte r\u00edgido que recibe golpes fuertes ocasionales pertenece a un grado de alto impacto de ABS como HI-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una pieza que se flexiona repetidamente se rige por la resistencia a la fatiga, donde gana el copol\u00edmero de impacto de PP. Cambie a un <a href=\"https:\/\/bastone-petrochem.com\/es\/acetal-copolymer-vs-polypropylene\/\">eje de rigidez, fluencia y desgaste como acetal versus PP<\/a> y la respuesta cambia de nuevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cuando la Menor Densidad del PP Invierte el C\u00e1lculo de Costos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El PP produce aproximadamente 13\u201315% m\u00e1s piezas por kilogramo que el ABS, lo que puede revertir una comparaci\u00f3n de costos que parec\u00eda resuelta en la cotizaci\u00f3n por kg. El PP tiene aproximadamente 0.90\u20130.92 g\/cm\u00b3 frente al ABS de 1.03\u20131.07 (ASTM D792).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El costo de resina por pieza escala con el volumen de la pieza multiplicado por la densidad, no con el precio por kilo destacado, por lo que una cotizaci\u00f3n de ABS que parece competitiva por kilogramo a\u00fan compra menos piezas de la misma masa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El PP generalmente tiene un precio por kg m\u00e1s bajo adem\u00e1s de eso, y aproximadamente 10\u201315% menos energ\u00eda de procesamiento de fusi\u00f3n. Su densidad es un factor de decisi\u00f3n disfrazado de nota al pie, uno que tambi\u00e9n reduce la masa enviada en una pieza de mano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Donde el ABS Gana Su Prima<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El ABS se pinta y se galvaniza hasta un acabado Clase A sin el tratamiento de superficie que exige el PP, y ese es su borde genuino y decisivo. El PP tiene aproximadamente 29\u201331 dina\/cm de energ\u00eda superficial sin tratar, mientras que una pintura, tinta o adhesivo necesita alrededor de 36\u201342 dina\/cm para adherirse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recubrir PP significa aumentar su energ\u00eda superficial con llama, corona o plasma m\u00e1s una imprimaci\u00f3n, y ese tratamiento es perecedero. El PP tratado con corona puede perder alrededor de 3 dina\/cm en una semana, por lo que una pieza tratada tiene una ventana de recubrimiento que el ABS no tiene, raz\u00f3n por la cual el ABS es el sustrato de galvanoplastia predeterminado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El ABS respalda el acabado con rigidez. Un <a href=\"https:\/\/bastone-petrochem.com\/es\/product-category\/synthetic-resin\/pp\/\">PP grade<br><\/a> resiste los \u00e1cidos fuertes y solventes que agrietan el ABS, la misma l\u00ednea de propiedad que decide un contenedor qu\u00edmico frente a un adorno chapado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si la decisi\u00f3n recae en el PP, <a href=\"https:\/\/bastone-petrochem.com\/es\/decide-between-three-main-grades-polypropylene-resin\/\">los tres grados principales de PP<\/a> divida seg\u00fan la rigidez, claridad e impacto a baja temperatura: la siguiente decisi\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de que la resina est\u00e9 resuelta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leyendo la Decisi\u00f3n Basada en Una Propiedad, No en la Hoja de Datos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Encuentre la \u00fanica propiedad que la pieza no puede comprometer y la resina generalmente ya est\u00e1 elegida. Persiga la hoja de datos general y especificar\u00e1 en exceso ABS en piezas que necesitaban PP por su inercia qu\u00edmica, resistencia a la fatiga o bajo peso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ABS mantiene su prima solo donde es decisivo: pintabilidad y enchapado limpios, o la rigidez para un alojamiento de precisi\u00f3n. Las propiedades que deciden los casos m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles son las que ninguna hoja de especificaciones imprime: ciclos de fatiga por flexi\u00f3n y energ\u00eda superficial en dina\/cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esos dos n\u00fameros no listados resuelven una pieza de bisagra y una pieza pintada m\u00e1s a menudo que las columnas impresas de Izod y m\u00f3dulo.
